Join us on Notes
UPDATE from 2024 - To see our 500+ daily posts and counting, go to the Notes tab or click through to the newsletter's home page (jointzoftheday.substack.com).
(To our readers: Most of this email is pre-packaged info from Substack explaining Notes, the site’s new social media feature. But we also wanted to take a moment to thank you very much for subscribing to Jointz Of The Day, and the day after hitting one hundred posts for the year so far seems as good a time as any to do it.)
Substack just rolled out its social media function, Substack Notes. We published our first note earlier today.
If you want to try it out for yourself, this email explains how:
Notes is a new space on Substack for readers and writers to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. We plan to use it to recommend posts and newsletters from other writers that Jointz Of The Day readers might like, plus tracks from our YouTube channel that aren’t included in newsletter posts, miscellaneous other tracks, event notices, and everything else we’re also sharing on Twitter.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Jointz Of The Day, you’ll automatically see our notes and those from any other newsletters you subscribe to. Feel free to like, reply, or share them. Readers can also post their own notes. Any time you’d like us to amplify something, just drop a mention (@jointzoftheday).
The Substack team hopes this becomes a space where every Jointz Of The Day reader can share thoughts, ideas, and quotes from the things we're all reading on Substack and beyond. And a social media hub that helps replace Elmo’s ongoing Twitter dumpster fire.
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance.
(That’s the end of the info from Substack. Thanks again, peace for now!)
